Wintec is an award-winning institution based in New Zealand’s Waikato region. With over 100 years of experience providing top-quality tertiary education, Wintec programmes meet the needs of local industry with practical, job-focused training. Wintec offers over 110 degrees, diplomas and certificates. It produces some of New Zealand’s finest nurses, social workers, midwives, graphic designers, performing artists, engineers, tradespeople, early childhood teachers, horticulturists, arborists, sport scientists, and much more.

Our focus is on practical, hands-on training. This means Wintec graduates develop skills in environments that simulate where they will work.
